In our installations, the individual pieces perform together creating rhythms and transitions highlighted by material sensibilities, color interactions, and placement. The sculptures often lean, curve, or tenuously balance- flexing form and meaning. Installations span across space demarcating a “flex zone” and invite a meditative and immersive experience. Our installations create an interactive mise-en-scéne of sculptural components that “act-out” by stretching, bending, and bowing into shape. The way our sculptural materials interact mirror the negotiations required to make the work. Across mediums, our spirited partnership and work highlights how identities form, shape, change, last, and thrive.
